Northwood Academy Charter School (NACS) requires all students to wear a school uniform daily. To distinguish between grade levels, there are variations to the school uniform.
Teachers must encourage students to wear their uniform by awarding points for being responsible using the Dean's List platform. Each day, a member of the Culture Team will record students who are out of uniform and issue a consequence.

- Northwood maroon gym sweatshirt with the school logo and maroon sweatpants.
- NACS maroon T-shirt with school logo and Maroon Gym shorts can be worn during warmer months.
- Maroon Northwood short or long sleeve polo - fully tucked in Khaki or Black pants
- Maroon Cardigan
- Black or Brown Belt (optional) Khaki skort or Jumper
- Maroon gym Sweatshirt & sweatpants with school logo (Gym days only)
- NACS maroon T-shirt with school logo and Khaki uniform shorts (can be no more than 2 inches above the knee) can be worn during warmer months.
- Black Northwood short or long sleeve polo - fully tucked in Black or Khaki pants or skort
- Black Cardigan Black Belt
- Black gym sweatshirt & sweatpants with school logo (Gym days only)
- NACS Black T-shirt with school logo and Black uniform shorts (can be no more than 2 inches above the knee) can be worn during warmer months.
- Tie up shoes with rubber soles or sneakers must be worn daily.
- No open back UGG slippers, slides, or sandals, including Tasman and Clogs.
- No furry or fuzzy boots or Foam Runners of any kind.
- No Crocs, Heelys, slides or light up sneakers of any kind.
- Only Northwood sweatshirts, or cardigans over the Northwood polo. While it is acceptable for students to protect themselves from the weather, students may not cover their head with a hoodie during the school day at Northwood Academy. Hoods and hats are to be removed upon entering the building.
- Jewelry and accessories should not disrupt instruction or pose a risk to safety therefore, large hoops, bracelets and oversized fashion accessories should be avoided.
- Students are allowed to wear religious head coverings and garments. Hijabs should be maroon, black, or khaki to be in line with the school uniform colors.
